Description:
Unfolded Tea is a conceptual packaging project where I designed a unique takeout-box-inspired presentation for loose leaf tea, with each serving held inside a fortune-cookie-shaped container. I developed the full brand concept, designed the packaging system, and created detailed 3D mockups to visualize the final product. The design blends playful curiosity with traditional Chinese elegance, creating a memorable unboxing experience that reflects the brand’s identity.
In developing the project, I focused on how form and storytelling could work together to elevate a simple product into an engaging experience. The packaging structure was designed to feel familiar yet unexpected, encouraging interaction through its fortune-cookie-inspired tea portions. Every detail, from material choice to structural layout, was considered to support both function and narrative, ensuring the user experience felt intentional and immersive.
This project allowed me to explore the intersection of brand storytelling, product design, and packaging innovation. Through experimentation and iteration, I refined how visual identity and physical form can work together to create meaning beyond the product itself.
