DUOCHROME Photography

DUOCHROME is a portrait series exploring the emotional and visual impact of dual-color lighting. By placing contrasting hues on either side of each subject, the work highlights subtle shifts in mood, identity, and perception within a single frame.

Each color pairing was intentionally chosen to reflect how I perceive the individual—using light as a way to characterize personality, presence, and emotional tone. Through this approach, the portraits move beyond representation and into interpretation, where color becomes a tool for storytelling as much as form.
