GOLDENSET Photography

This photographic series explores the relationship between light, shadow, and form through controlled “golden hour” lighting in a completely dark environment. Rather than relying on natural sunlight, I recreated the warmth and directionality of golden hour by reflecting a single light source off a gold reflector, casting a soft, angled glow onto each subject.

The result is a set of intimate, high-contrast portraits that emphasize depth, texture, and emotion. By isolating light in an otherwise fully dark space, the project highlights how subtle shifts in lighting can transform mood and perception, turning each portrait into one of my favorite photo series to date, encapsulating the magic of golden hour right before the sun sets.
